The C.A.R.E.S. Group provides education, support, resources and hope for communities, families, and individuals who are affected by substance abuse and its devastating consequences.
The C.A.R.E.S. Group, founded by a mother and her son, is a direct response to the increase in substance abuse, overdoses, and deaths of young people in local communities. They felt first-hand the devastating impact of addiction on the entire family. In their personal struggles, which span over a decade, they discovered a lack of available resources for parents and other affected family members.
The C.A.R.E.S. Group offers free, weekly support groups that provide professional facilitation, ongoing education, support services, and recovery resources for parents, families, and community members addressing issues related to substance abuse and addiction.
