“When my son was young he was loving, caring, and extremely smart. He excelled in school and was placed in a gifted program. He was really just a joy to be around. Around freshman year I started noticing negative behaviors and him not caring about the consequences of his actions. There was a complete disregard for the rules of my house. From then on I learned quickly that when my son got into trouble he was going to make a statement! His trouble with the law started at sixteen years old when he was pulled over and had marijuana in the car. After a few more juvenile arrests, and with an increasingly toxic home environment, we sought help. But, still my son found trouble everywhere he went.”
